The Manly Apartment was a downsizing project for our clients, demanding a pragmatic approach to maximise functionality in limited space. During the initial planning, the goal was to design flexible and inviting spaces that minimized clutter while showcasing the unique tastes and personalities of the homeowners. Situated on the ground floor with limited natural light, a key objective was to brighten the space without it feeling clinical. Achieving this involved treating the floors with a white stain and introducing warmth and visual interest through a refined palette of muted timber tones, bronze detailing, and natural stones. The result is a sophisticated and comfortable space that fulfills both aesthetic and practical considerations.
